August 29th Daily Work

today in Up and Running with Photoshop for Design I did chapter 3

blending layers – before and after

working with adjustment layers- before and after

scaling and rotating: before and after

 

 

Daily Work Aug 28th

Today I did Selecting areas of color.. moving one picture and putting a different background with it, before and after

also in selecting areas of color, i learned how to select just one thing and move it. before and after

I took the colored back ground from the model and made it white,   before and after

made different layers  before and after

August 27th Daily work

I took and passed the Computer Literacy Windows 7 brain bench test,

Im still working in Chapter 2 Selecting areas of color, I keep accidentally clicking it and undos my selected area so I have to redo it.

I took and passed the brainbench Computer Fundamentals (win 7)

I also started working on chapter 2 refining the edges. but didn’t do enough progress to screen shot it.

today i took the Brainbench Computer Fundamentals (Mac OS X 10.4) assessment.

Also I watched the videos:

Switching from Windows to Mac: Video Summary

How there is ways around using applications for just windows allowing you to use them on a mac. Macs are on the rise above regular windows, macs all run on one setup. You get what you pay for, expensive mac will last longer, using finder on the mac is easier then finding things on windows, the control panel is also easier.  The difference between a taskbar and a dock.  How to slow down the double click on the mouse. Learning everything you can do with finder, how to learn on the information about the computer.  Finder is always running, you place many shortcuts and take the defaults off. How get widgets and add some for the dashboard, how to use multiple drives at once to transfer stuff. How to find specific files with quick look. How to customize the finders’ tool bar, how to get  a file back if you accidentally delete it.

I also got my summary done for the videos I also started photoshop and am currently watching Chapter 1 starting a image.
